Guidance

Divide deciduous shrubs into shrubs with decorative leaves and decorative flowers. Some varieties, e.g. WEJGELA bush have colorful leaves and interesting flowers. The ninebark with yellow and burgundy leaves grows beautifully to a height of 1.5 m.

Brabant grows the fastest of all thujas, it is a variety that thickens very quickly only it needs to be pruned at least twice a year in the first years after planting in order to force it to thicken even more.

For low deciduous hedge it is offered as a boxwood – evergreen plant. For hedge trimming privet or barberries. For flowering hedge we propose shrubs of bouquet hydrangea which blooms for about five months. As a hedge for lazy cornel berry or ninebark in varieties.

On the hedge for trimming we can offer brabant. It is a fast-growing and fast-dense variety. For the slightly lazy, the occidentalis or columne thuja will be better, both varieties do not require pruning.

A beautiful deciduous hedge is obtained from privet. It is a hedge from which we can cut out various shapes. For the less demanding and less patient we offer ninebark shrubs. It occurs in varieties which differ in color.

We have a very wide range of thujas. We select them depending on their destination. If you need a hedge thujas, so called “linear”, we proposes occidentalis, columne and others. If it is to be a solitary we propose to choose thujas with an interesting shape and color, which will make our garden more interesting.

If we have a small garden we are looking for plants of small size, you can find spruces of dwarfed spruce form ALBERTA GLOBE, NIDOFORMIS, ECHINIFORMIS. Canadian Christmas tree JEDELLOH has a beautiful overhanging shape and reaches only 50 cm.

When planting thujas we have to remember to look at the seedlings first. If it meets our expectations we dig a hole at least twice as big as the pot. After putting the plant into the hole, we fill it with acidified soil, i.e. PH 5-6. After planting, we water the plant thoroughly.

On the balcony and terrace we offer plants with a small root system such as DANICA thuja. Pine dwarf pine also copes well in such conditions.

Thuja occidentalis can be nicely pruned, shaped, can be planted in a row. In smaller gardens can be pruned by forming different shapes/pruning the trunk and form a ball or spiral or other shapes.

Most plants are suitable for cultivation in pots. The issue is to prepare the right pot and substrate inside. Drainage of water and its protection in winter is also important.

For pots we offer dwarf coniferous plants. They do not grow intensively, so we are able to cope with them. In the pots, junipers do well, they have different colors and needle factors. You can create interesting compositions out of them.

For planting on house plots it is best to choose old varieties of fruit trees which are not very susceptible to diseases. These are varieties such as White Transparent, Antonovka, Gloster and others.

For pots we offer thujas with small dimensions and small root system. Depending on the type of plant, we select the substrate. Remember that the pot has a drain and lining to protect the root from frost.

The easy-to-grow shrubs include potentilla – these are shrubs with numerous colorful flowers that only need to be pruned in spring. We also offer spiraea – these are shrubs with colorful flowers and leaves. Pruning them after flowering.

Depending on the variety. If you want to get a compact hedge of occidentalis thuja or columne we suggest planting them at spacing of 70-80 cm. Planting density depends on the diameter of plant.
